SFSU provides multiple cafes and restaurants, a weekly farmer's market, options for food insecure students and nutritional guidance.

The Basic Needs program is accessible both online and on campus. The purpose of the program is to provide a consolidated list of resources that are available to low income students through SFSU. SFSU also provides various resources that operate outside of campus grounds. SFSU publishes links, phone numbers, and addresses of local food banks as well as daily updated online charts of where to find free food. Below are links to both on campus and off campus sources for food.
