San Francisco State handles hate crimes and other threats in a timely and professional manner, at least I haven't heard different. When a crime is reported, Campus Police are required to give the school community a "Timely Warning" to ensure everyone in the area of school grounds is notified of the incident. To ensure staff is well educated when it comes to Hate Crimes, the University goes over policies and procedures annually.
