Student Health Service (SHS) was established in 1899, and for the past 15 years has served around 30,000 students each year. Any SFSU student who is currently enrolled has access to no cost medical care visits; and low cost medication, medical testing, and medical supplies. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all appointments are currently virtual, and can be made by phone (fastest method) or through the students individual “myHealth” page; which is a secure and confidential system which allows you to access your medical information and messages to and from your SHS providers.

Services provided by SHS include: medical advice and consultation, medical concerns, mental health concerns, medication prescriptions and refills, birth control prescriptions and refills, pharmacy curbside pick up, nutrition, sexual health. (All appointments are virtual at this time.)

Temporary restricted on-site services due to Covid-19: most in-person visits, laboratory, X-ray, immunization clinic, and rehab services.

Covid-19 testing is not offered.
