The AS Women’s Center Provide services for all female-identifying students and allies are welcomed. In their offices it is a space where you are able to breastfeed and pump, they also offer free organic menstrual hygiene products such as pads and tampons. In their library students are able to check out books on feminism and women’s empowerment. Another important aspect of the Women’s Center is they help all womxn going through issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, housing insecurity, etc. and refer you to find resources locally. This organization also usually puts on events that cater to the community of female identifying students at SFSU for example they put on an annual women’s conference.
The amount of hours the office can be open is limited because it is run by students.
