Coming Together in Skokie and Niles Township launched in January 2010. The intention of the program is to build community with the diverse population of Skokie by providing opportunities for residents to explore different cultures through book discussions, performances, cooking demonstrations, and much. These and other activities are held at Niles West High School, Skokie Public Library, and at various community organizations throughout Skokie and Niles Township. Each year focuses on a different ethnic or cultural community. Visit the Coming Together site for more information on events and resources.
