The East Prairie Preschool program focuses on the growth of the whole child. This includes all areas of development such as social, emotional, linguistic, physical, creative, and cognitive. Children work and play together to solve problems, share experiences, and develop new skills. Daily activities will be presented through thematic units and reflect the interests and curiosity of the children.

East Prairie School is a one building district with grades pre-K through eighth grade. This learning environment provides preschool students with many unique and enriching experiences. Some of the resources available to us include: newly renovated library two gyms full time nurse computer lab Classroom Buddies program fine arts assemblies

Play based curriculum which provides many language-building activities.

Additional info

Our staff members, including aides, are all Illinois State certified teachers. The head teachers hold Master's degrees in Early Childhood Education and have their ELL endorsements from National Louis University.
