Skokie Public Library will be hosting an exhibition beginning on September 9, 2016 and ending on October 4, 2016. This installation is a presentation of content from the Smithsonian Institute’s National Museum of Natural History, and explores the stories behind human origins. The library is seeking docents who could assist throughout that month with fielding and surveying visitors; monitoring the exhibition; and answering questions that visitors may have regarding the exhibition. Docents would also assist with a grand opening event on September 11, 2016 between 1 – 3pm. There will be one mandatory training session required to complete the commitment, Tuesday, August 23, 1-2pm or Thursday, August 25, 6-7pm in the Book Discussion Room.

If you are interested in applying to be a docent, please fill out the application of the Skokie Public Library website.
