Incorporated in 1988 as a private, not-for-profit corporation, the Skokie Northshore sculpture Park is a vital cultural and recreational resource to Skokie and the northern Illinois region.  The Sculpture Park exhibits large-scale contemporary sculptures, which are sited throughout two miles of riverbank parkland.  A volunteer board of trustees governs the Sculpture Park.  Funding and other support comes through public, private, corporate and local and state government grants and in-kind contributions.

The Sculpture Park's Education Outreach Programs, Sculpture-in-the-classroom and Art -in-the-Park, are presented each year to hundreds of local K-12 students free of charge.
