In Little Birds Child Care, children are valued and cared for with love. Children's safety always comes first in this program. To build social and emotional development, children are encouraged to build friendships by sharing toys and using words to express their feelings. Provider uses positive guidance with logical consequences, models appropriate behavior for children, and establishes clear and simple rules.

Curriculum

All of the activities are theme-based, and designed with the interest and development level of each individual child. The planned activities include movement, art, math, and reading; and help children develop physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Activities are designed to reach developmental goals and Illinois Early Learning standards Benchmarks; provider also teaches sign language and Spanish vocabularies.
