NA'AMAT USA is a global  Jewish women's organization dedicated to enhancing the life of women and children.  Partners with NA'AMAT Israel to provide vital educational and social services for women, children and families in Israel.  Advances and strengthens the status of women in the family, in the work force, and in society.  NA'AMAT aids in the absorption of new immigrants in Israel.  NA'AMAT is an international movement with over 300,000 members in 9 countries.  NA'AMAT members are a network of caring and inspirational women dedicated to social justice and equality for all women.  IN ISRAEL:  SERVICES FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN--provides quality day care to more than 18,000 children in 250 centers throughout Israel and supports the Glickman Center for Family Violence Prevention, a shelter and counseling center to hundreds of women and children; operates 30 Legal Aid Bureaus which focus on personal and workplace issues; supports 4 Women's Rights Centers that provide mediation, counseling and workshops to over 10,000 Israeli women each year.  AGRICULTURAL AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING--Operates 2 residential agricultural high schools for 300 students, educates more than 3,500 students annually in 20 vocational and technological high schools that serve the needs of teens at-risk, and students with learning disabilities; awards over 200 scholarships annually for higher education.  STATUS OF WOMEN--works to reinforce women's awareness of their rights and value in the work force, and raises the awareness of employers to adapt to the needs of women and their families, initiates legislation on behalf of women's rights, organizes protests and demonstrations to help achieve equal rights in the workplace, participates in Knesset Committees.  IN THE UNITED STATES--Advocates for legislation and participates in coalitions for civil rights and child welfare.  Supports Jewish education and Habonim Dror, our Zionist youth movment.  Member of Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, America Zionist Movement, and World Zionist Organization.
