Cerro Romualdo is one of the Nine Sisters. It is named after the Huerta de Romualdo ranch at the base of the mountain, which in turn is named after Romualdo, the only Indian to be given a landgrant in San Luis Obispo county.1

In 1941 it was acquired by the U.S. Government and became part of Camp San Luis Obispo.2
