At Rutiz Family Farms, it isn’t just about growing fruits and vegetables, but about redefining a relationship between a community and the farmer.

Our 30 years of farming experience enables us to offer the local community fresh produce using sustainable farming practices.  The retail market stand, located adjacent to the farm’s thirty acres of beautiful land just outside of Arroyo Grande, allows for direct sales of our farm products, harvested at their peak of ripeness and flavor.

Organic fertilizers, no pesticide use, and extensive green manure cropping enables us to grow healthy plants while building soil fertility.

In order to offer a constant array of seasonal items, the farm grows more than 50 varieties of hand harvested crops ranging from sweet corn and tomatoes in the summer to cool weather items like potatoes and lettuce. We also cultivate berries, culinary herbs and cut flowers.

We also offer a CSA for our fresh veggies and other local fruits.

See our Blog page to find out what is in season and pictures from the farm.
