SLO Big Brothers Big Sisters is a donor- and volunteer-supported organization helping vulnerable children of single, low-income and/or incarcerated parents succeed through strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships. They recruit, screen, match, and support volunteers with vulnerable children.

Since opening for service in 1995, they have created more than 1,700 mentor relationships. In 2013, they served 350 children in San Luis Obispo County.
