Showers of Hope, no longer in operation, operated a shower trailer from 2017 to 2022 on Saturdays at the SLO United Church of Christ parking lot (11245 Los Osos Valley Road) to serve homeless people who were underserved by shelters and other programs. It grew out of the Hope's Village project. They also offered clothes, and often food and other services (e.g. haircuts) as well.
