The Sinsheimer Building is a historic building located in downtown San Luis Obispo at 849 Monterey Street. 

The Sinsheimer Bros. firm commissioned the construction of the two-story brick structure to house their general store in 1884. The building was designed by Veitch, Knowles, & Co. of Oakland and constructed by Alfred Walker at a cost of $8,647.^1,2 The store continued under family operation until 1974. Subsequent owners operated the store under the same name until 1977.³

In 1980, Granny's General Store opened in the building, and by 1986 Country Classics was advertising in the local newspaper.

The building was retrofitted in 2010, and was unoccupied from about 2008 to 2016, when Giuseppe's Cucina Rustica opened in the Sinsheimer building in 2016.⁴
