William Decker Holdredge (1903-1989) was a San Luis Obispo architect.

Holdredge was born in New York in 1903, and as a young boy moved with his family to Los Angeles.5 He was a graduate of USC and worked as an architect in California and Hawaii.6 After released from the army at Camp San Luis in 1946, he opened a practice as an architect in San Luis Obispo. Holdredge contracted with the county to restrict all county work to his firm.

In 1956 he moved to Texas, where he purchased the firm of Paul G. Silber & Co. of San Antonio,  where he practiced architecture until his retirement.7

In 1956 Holdredge formed a partnership with  John R. Ross, Holdredge and Ross, AIA.Although Holdredge moved to Texas, he retained interest in the firm.9

Holdredge passed away in Bremerton, Washington in 1989.7
