History

The Lake Springfield Marina was founded by Bob Gordon in 1991. The Marina was located near the Lindsay Bridge at the time of its founding, but it was moved to its current location in 1999.

Overview

The Lake Springfield Marina provides boating services for Lake Springfield and central Illinois. Services include selling boats and personal water crafts, providing rental boats, various maintenance services for boats and personal water crafts, and boat storage. The Lake Springfield Marina has hourly or day rentals for tritoons, pontoons, wave runners, paddle boards, ski boats, kayaks, and fishing boats.

Events

• Annual customer appreciation parties at the end of the boating season around September or October. 
• Rock the Dock is the biggest event the Lake Springfield Marina hosts. It is a fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day
• Boat Races and Boat Shows
