Founded in 2001, Vibewire Youth Inc is a dynamic non-profit organisation that exists to ensure that young people are included (and able to participate) in conversations that matter.

Vibewire acknowledges that across the world young people are making important contributions as world citizens, workers, entrepreneurs, consumers and agents of change. We are dedicated to encouraging and stimulating an entrepreneurial spirit by unlocking the talents, imagination and creativity of youth as drivers of change, addressing important economic, environmental and social issues within our communities.

Vibewire’s mantra is to connect, create, innovate, and grow.

CONNECT:  Vibewire builds and facilitates connections between Vibewire members and Australia’s social, cultural and arts institutions.

CREATE:  We create opportunities for young people to grapple with issues, topics and ideas that have currency or are emerging.

INNOVATE:  We approach media and conversation with no preconceptions. We encourage discovery and experimentation in both form and content.

GROW:  We believe that a healthy mix of experimentation and engagement will allow our members to grow in confidence and capability. And through this, Vibewire too, will grow.

What does Vibewire do?

We run an Enterprise hub (co-work) space in Ultimo for young creative and social entrepreneurs.

We run a monthly innovation series, showcasing young creative thinkers who are pushing boundaries and leading with their hearts.

We run an online space for young writers to develop their voice and get the opportunity to be published quarterly in our Anthology.

We run a fee for service media agency that provides youth perspective on major news, events and ideas while up-skilling young journalists across multiple platforms.

We train and integrate young interns in all aspects of our business, from project development to marketing to program delivery.

We connect young people with career and personal development opportunities to launch them into a brighter future.
