The "Metro" is by design a music venue cafe in Tacoma. They cheerfully and with pride serve hand crafted coffee beans from Victrola Coffee, who the owner also works with as Director of Sales and Marketing. The space is large with bar seating, table seating outside seating, and a fireplace to warm up by both outside and inside. And yes those couches outside are really comfortable! Tuesday evenings starting around 7 and going till close at 11 ish, the local singer songwriters, poets and musicians come out to share their newest creations, usually lasts from 7pm-11pm. Throughout the week concerts both free and paid are playing in the evenings. They do a fair number of fundraisers as well. They also serve beer, wine and fresh pressed orange juice. (They interior design is really well done, quality seats, tables and a giant white moose over the gas fireplace...) Mad Hat Teas are on served as well as Corina Bakery pastries. This local husband/wife team, Josh and Gretchen really work hard to keep supporting local businesses.)
