9th and Terrace Park is a well-kept "neighborhood park" with a nice playground, ball field and paved basketball court, conveniently located next to Midtown nestled in a quiet neighborhood off of E. 7th Ave. between Thomasville and Centerville roads.

In case you're wondering, yes, this is the official name of this park (check out the official city sign when you go), and yes, it's located on the corner of E. 9th Ave. and Terrace St.  It may not have a fancy name, but it's one of Tallahassee's lesser known (i.e. never crowded) parks with a nice playground, ball field and paved basketball court.  Sports teams do use the field for games, so that's the only time you'll encounter a crowd.  There's no parking lot (sorry, resident's who live on the park's edges!), but it's conveniently located next to Midtown nestled in a quiet neighborhood off of E. 7th Ave. between Thomasville and Centerville roads.  Bring the kids to play, run, climb, swing, picnic or practice their T-ball.  Bring your buddies to shoot some hoops.  Bring your pooch to enjoy a walk through the open field, too (on the leash, please).  Bring your sweetie for a relaxing picnic.  And since shade is limited to a few areas on the playground, always bring your sunscreen!
