The annual blessing of animals is held every October, at Mission San Luis.  www.missionsanluis.org   Pets of all kinds are taken to the Mission's re-created 17th century church.  The pets you bring get a treat, and you can haave a photo taken of the blessing.  This is usually a very busy day at the Mission.
