FSU Summer Music Camps

"What Will Your Summer Sound Like?"

We know that choosing the right summer camp can be a challenging decision. It's important to find one with quality price, location, and activities. The Summer Music Camps at Florida State University harness all of these qualities and is truly an experience unlike anything else.

Currently in it's 71st year, our camp is one of the oldest in the nation. Through the course of six weeks in June and July, there are 14 different camps that are offered. From orchestra to marching band; guitar to voice - there is something for everyone. (A lot of campers even attend multiple camps!) The camps include exceptional musical instruction and performances, as well as incorporating lots of fun summer activities. The instructors consist of FSU faculty members and some of the finest music educators from the state of Florida and around the country. Each camp is set up very differently, but there is always something going on - masters classes, large/small ensembles, music theory, solo recitals, steel drum band, etc. Our camps will help continue the work that your young musician has begun and open their eyes and ears to what lies beyond their hometown music experience.
