Titusville, is located in the southeast corner of Crawford County near where the county borders with Warren and Venango Counties, Titusville, Pennsylvania, serves as the hub of activity for the tri-county region encompassed by the Titusville Area School District.

A visit to the Museum includes a working replica of the original Drake’s Well. In Titusville, you can also schedule a ride on the Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad where you can travel back in time through the Pennsylvania Oil Country and enjoy the scenery along Oil Creek while listening to tales of the oil boom that once swept the valley and marked the beginning of the world’s oil industry. In 2015, Toyota came back to “The Birthplace of the Oil Industry”, drew water from Oil Creek, converted it and then used it to drive the Toyota Mirai, a new hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, around the City of Titusville.
