The Air-Rail Transit Link is a proposed rail line between Union Station and Pearson Airport to be constructed by Metrolinx. Before Metrolinx took over the project, it was to be owned and operated privately by SNC Lavalin.

It is also known as the Blue 22, for both the expected travel time and one-way fare.

The line will run through Liberty Village, the Niagara Neighbourhood, The Junction triangle, the town of Weston, and beyond.

The Citizens of Toronto

Currently it is proposed to construct an premium-priced train service between Union Station and Pearson Airport with stop at the Bloor Subway line and Weston. The line is planned to follow the Georgetown Line tracks until a junction between Etobicoke North and Malton stations, from where it will proceed southward along a newly constructed spur terminating at the Terminal 1 parking garage. The new line as it is currently designed will not be able to accommodate double-decker GO trains and cannot be expanded to allow trains to continue beyond the airport.

The Weston Community Coalition believes that the citizens of Toronto would be better served with a publically owned and operated rapid transit subway line with ten stops between Union Station and Pearson Airport.
