Toronto has extensive bike paths and commuting routes throughout town. Since May of 2011, BIXI Toronto has provided a bike-share-program for the downtown core.
TRAILS
- Belt Line Trail runs from Mount Pleasant Cemetary on Yonge Street to Roselawn Avenue and Allen Expressway. A lesser known part of the trail continues to Caledonia Road and Eglinton Avenue.
- Finch Hydro Corridor Trail is a proposed trail running just west of Islington Avenue in the west, to Meadowvale Road in Scarborough.
- Gatineau Hydro Corridor Trail runs through Wards 37, 38 and 43, from Victoria Park Avenue and Eglinton Avenue to Ellesmere Road and Military Trail.
- Humber River Bike Path runs the length of the Humber River in Toronto.
- Martin Goodman Trail along Toronto's waterfront.
