Toronto Public Library Board and Heritage Toronto invites you to the opening of the beautifully renovated and expanded Bloor/Gladstone Branch (1101 Bloor Street West) - one of Toronto's treasured historical buildings.

New Stuff
- A much larger library: The new glass addition will add over 9,000 square feet, featuring a two storey curtain wall providing a striking street presence and view into the library.
- A library that is easier to use: Complete barrier-free accessibility to the building, a family washroom and public washrooms on both levels and express check-out.
- A new Le@rning Centre, 32 computers throughout the branch (an 88% increase), wireless internet access.
- More to enjoy: Bigger collections - thousands of new books, CDs, magazines and DVDs.
- Your home away from home: Reading lounges for adults and children and a funky vibrant teen zone; bookable meeting and quiet study room as well as three group study rooms.
- A greener building: A new environmentally friendly green roof on the addition and extensive expanded outdoor landscaping with the addition of 20 newly planted trees.
