Profile: Robert (Bob) Lorne Hunter (October 13, 1941–May 2, 2005) was a Canadian environmentalist, journalist, author and politician. He was a member of the Vancouver-based anti-nuclear group Don't Make a Wave Committee, and later co-founded Greenpeace and served as its first president. He was a reporter for many years for CityTV, and CP24, and a columnist for the Winnipeg Tribune, Vancouver Sun and eye weekly here in Toronto. He has also authored several books and produced numerous documentaries.
