Rethink Breast Cancer Launches Breast Fest Film Festival in Toronto

This Friday and Saturday, Hollywood North will roll out the pink carpet for the world's first Film Festival dedicated to breast cancer awareness.

Launched by Rethink Breast Cancer, the Breast Fest Film Festival will showcase the many issues surrounding breast cancer on the silver screen, including short films, documentaries and dramatic features.

The Festival will profile films that span the emotional spectrum and highlight the diverse experiences of those who have been touched either directly or indirectly by breast cancer.

The opening night screenings will include the Canadian premiere of Living Proof, which tells the story of the UCLA doctor who developed the drug Herceptin, one of the most important breast cancer research breakthroughs of our time.

The winning film from the Breast Fest Film Festival short film competition will be presented by its director on Saturday night. A full schedule of show times and film descriptions can be viewed at http://www.breastfestfilmfest.com.

Educational, engaging and inspirational, the Breast Fest Film Festival is an event not to be missed.
