Christopher Peloso, 39, the husband of Former Ontario Deputy Premier and Former Toronto Mayoral Candidate George Smitherman went missing from their Davenport and Bathurst area home around 4 p.m. on Monday September 9, 2013.

He was reported missing the following morning.

“I regret to confirm that Christopher Peloso has been missing from our home for almost 24 hours,”

“Michael, Kayla and myself, with the support of family and friends, are hopeful that our husband and father will be home safely soon.”

Toronto Police had triangulated Peloso's cell phone signal, and the search continued.

He was found by the railroad tracks near Dupont and Lansdowne Avenue by Ranger The Police Dog.

Peloso was taken to Toronto Western Hospital, where he was still recovering when this wiki page was last updated.
