Founded in 1951, the Conservation Council of Ontario (CCO) is a non-government, charitable organization with a mandate to promote cooperation for conservation and a healthy environment in Ontario, Canada. Their membership includes both provincial organizations and individual members who support our goal of a healthy environment, are committed to incorporating conservation values into their own activities, and who wish to work together to promote a province-wide, cooperative approach to solving environmental problems.
