Crown Emperor Bush

One week after the Blackout of 2003 on August 23, George W. Bush was crowned as Emperor of The United States in Grange Park.

A parade was held beginning at the park on the south-east corner of Bay and Dundas Streets.

The parade headed south on Yonge Street and then west on Queen Street. All along the way, 11 by 17 double sided cartoon flyers were handed out by people wearing togas. The Flyers were about how to build an empire.

Emperor Bush stopped at various points during the parade, handed out gold coins to tourists and Torontonians alike.

Shortly after being crowned Emperor by the columns at the north end of Grange Park, he was overthrown by the Roman centurians and dumped into the wading pool.
