- Bufffet Food -Tucker's Marketplace - you can get free food on your birthday (they ask for I.D.)
- Ice Cream shops - You can always ask to sample some of the flavours before buying
- Coffee - from time to time star bucks will give away free samples of their coffee and/or pastries.
- Kernels - you can sample some of their popcorn from one of their sample buckets on the counter.
- Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory - They usually have some kind of samples of their goodies

Theatre
- Tarragon Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, Factory Theatre and Buddies in Bad Times have Sunday PWYC matinee performances.

- Toronto Star newspapers - You can get free Toronto Star newspapers on the Ryerson and York university campuses.
- Audiobooks - download free eAudiobooks from the Toronto Public Library but to do so you'll need a library card which is also free.
