Spring Forward, Fall Back

as the saying goes to remind us that we lose an hour in the Spring and get that interest-free loan of one hour's time back at the end of the Summer or mid-Autumn.

Later in the year, Daylight Savings Time ends in the fall.

That's when Eastern Standard Time returns to Toronto and is the one day of the year Torontonians get the fabled more than 24 hours in one day!
