Eugene Yao: Innovative Cycling Retailer: R.I.P.

Eugene Yao, who through his innovation, activism, intelligence and kindness made Toronto better for us all, passed away on February 12th.

Eugene is the husband of Winnie Ng, and father to Ryan and Claire.

Visitation is at Cardinal Funeral Home Bathurst Chapel (366 Bathurst Street, 416.603.1444) on Friday, February 22nd from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., and the service is Saturday, February 23rd at 10:00 a.m.

There will be a memorial gathering at Cecil Community Centre (58 Cecil Street, 416. 392.1090) on Saturday, February 23rd from 4:00pm.

Donations may be made to OCAD’s Eugene Yao Urbane Cyclist Bicycle Design Award Fund.
