Fridal Night Skate
Friday Night Skate known as FNS to regulars.
Cyclists in Toronto can think of it as a sofrt of Critical Skate, similar to the monthly Critical Mass bike rides.
An informal group of inline skaters meets weekly every Friday night in downtown Toronto, at the north east corner of the Yonge & Bloor intersection in front of the steps of the RBC bank branch at 1 Bloor Street East .
Route
Generally skaters who are present discuss and agree upon a route before everyone sets out (there are a few favourites).
Inline skaters begin showing up around there at 9:45 p.m. and the depart time is circa 10 p.m.
The route is often between 10-20 km depending on conditions and how everyone is feeling.
