Welcome to Torontopedia! A website about "Toronto, Ontario, Canada", "43.65417793947771", "-79.38092246805999" that anyone can edit without knowing about web-stuff. This project is an interconnected community effort to explore, discuss and compile anything and everything about Toronto — especially the little known, enjoyable things. This guide is continually being updated, expanded, and improved.
Everything on this site has been written by someone in or around Toronto because they want to share what they love (or loathe) about our city. Before registering your UserName...
Please read the Importance of using your RealName page to find out why we ask everyone to register using their real name. UserNames should be your first and last names with the first initial of each name capitalized without any space inbetween.
Example: if your real name is "Dona Jafri", we ask that you choose DonaJafri as your UserName when you first register your Torontopedia account. Thanks!
2007-09-20 10:51:35 The Scarborough Civic Centre background image in the top right header area makes it difficult for new users to spot where to created a new user account and where to login. So I'm removing the Background image to the top left of the text area, that is the square image is now replaced with a wider Scarborough Civic Centre image. Looks better from a log in box perspective, but still very text heavy. Will change the real front page to this version for now. —HimySyed

REMOVE: NewMindSpace and Fun Toronto from the front page
1. I want to add a page on Free Microwaves and Ovens, where people can find a microwave or over to warm up their food. Not sure where it should go on the front page - maybe under the food section.
2. I'd move GOOD IDEAS FOR DATES to besides SINGLE SCENE
3. I'd move JAZZ CLUBS IN TORONTO to the line above with the other music events. I'd also recommend renaming it to just JAZZ CLUBS.
4. I'd add FUNDRAISERS beside Charity Balls
5. I'd add TRADE SHOWS - maybe besides FESTIVALS.
6. I'd move STUDY SPOTS down to beside the SCHOOLS a few lines down. —MikeK.

2010-06-17 15:15:18 More suggestions: 1. Add the existing page Tobogganing and Sledding besides the other sports stuff (Gyms, skateboard parks, Parkour, etc) 2. Add the existing page Farmers' Markets in the food section —MikeK.

2010-06-28 02:11:31 More ideas: 1 - Should add Poutine to the food section 2 - We should create resource pages for various communities in Toronto, be they ethnic or other (Consumer Survivor, LGBTQ, etc) and place them on the front page.
