We believe that urban development should lead to stronger
communities and more amenities for local residents. The solution
lies in designing an "urban village" - which we define as "a place
that has almost everything you need on a daily basis and you can
walk to get there".
We are not expecting to turn Ontario's sprawl into compact, interconnected villages overnight. However, we do expect to give people a sense of what their community could look like, and to start them down the path of working with planners and developers to ensure that any future development contributes to their village vision.
