The Scarborough Walk of Fame was launched in 2006 with the inaugural group of inductees. This is an annual event.

Recipients of this award enjoy a star honouring them at the Scarborough Town Centre, for present and future generations to see what a dynamic and special place Scarborough really is. Also they attend a presentation ceremony and a gala evening honouring the year’s recipients. It’s a grand and emotional evening that touches everyone involved.
