The Pima Air and Space Museum

is located in Tucson, Arizona, USA. It is one of the largest aviation museums in the world and the largest non-government-funded US aviation museum. The museum features a collection of more than 300 aircraft and spacecraft from all over the world, including one of many rare ones. There are 5 indoor exhibition halls and a huge outdoor exhibition area, exhibiting more than 300 aircraft of various models of different eras, as well as the "390th Bombing Group Memorial Museum" and "Aerospace Exhibition Hall" (models). The idea of the Air and Space Museum began in 1966, when at the 25th anniversary celebration of the US Air Force, commanders realized that the history of aviation was disappearing with the demolition of old aircraft. Through their own initiative, they began to park service aircraft along the fence line of the base so that the public can see them. The initiative was very popular, and the foundation began to raise funds to purchase land for public museums. The museum's first major purchase of an aircraft from outside Tucson was in 1969 when it purchased a joint B-24 liberator from the Republic of India. The series continued to grow through 1975, and in 1976, the museum finally opened to the public. Today, the Pima Air and Space Museum is one of the largest non-governmentally funded aircraft museums in the United States.

Every plane has a story. It's like a movie. Various airplanes have even appeared in movies, such as the 007 series of movies. Before I went to the museum, the first image I gave me was an airplane parked in an open area outside, because this is very difficult to do in a city. Many airplanes are not models. Every airplane carries history.Due to the perennial drought, very little rainfall, and sparsely populated land, it is very suitable for aircraft storage. There are two main points here, one is the museum and the other is the tomb of the Air Force aircraft next to it. The museum is divided into indoor and outdoor. There are several exhibition halls indoors, mainly with some representative models and historical introductions. Outdoors are a large number of aircraft, you can see all kinds of aircraft, including a large number of military aircraft. The tomb of the plane is a long-distance tour by bus tour bus, but it is very shocking. The museum also houses the Air Force One presidential plane, including US President John F. Kennedy. Of course, President Nixon and Johnson also used it.

The famous air fortress aircraft-‘B-17’. In many movies, even the fried chicken restaurant "wingstop" uses this as a background.  Not only that, the museum also displays a large number of aircraft from other countries and various experimental aircraft. In addition to storing airplanes, disassembling and recycling parts, and for people to visit, you can occasionally take a private job and show your face in the movie "Transformers"! Speaking of the best exhibits, I think it is the fastest flying aircraft in the world, the SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft. It takes less than an hour from Los Angeles to New York, and it takes a lot of effort even for missiles to catch it.

In addition, the museum also houses civil aircraft and scientific experimental aircraft from other countries in the world.

The museum is not only a place to visit for leisure, but the museum also carries history. Every airplane has a story and a history. For example, the Sky Fortress bomber is featured in many World War II movies.

It’s okay if you don’t understand the history of airplanes, because most airplanes have appeared in various movies, such as The Expendables.
