Tulsa joins more than 80 other cities around the country for National Day of Civic Hacking June 1st, 2013.   NDOCH is a national initiative to bring together citizens, software developers, and entrepreneurs from all over the nation to collaboratively create, build, and invent new solutions using publicly-released data, code and technology to solve challenges relevant to our neighborhoods, our cities, our states and our country.   Tulsa's three main events for the day:

  • TulsaWiki Editathon (10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) at Central Library
  • Code for Tulsa Brigade Meetup (Noon-1:30pm at Central Library): Code for Tulsa will host an open meetup for everyone interested in Civic Apps and Open Data.
  •  A select Random Hacks of Kindness team will meet at the Guthrie Green at 10am (sponsored by the George Kaiser Family Foundation), using their technical skills to create something great for the Brady District.
