I am the Chief Executive Officer of the Tulsa City-County Library. I have the good fortune of working with 400 of the best and brightest colleagues in the business from Master-Degreed Librarians to Pages still in High School, along with a cadre of support staff from Maintenance Workers to Accounting Staff. I also oversee the Tulsa Library Trust, an independent 501(c)3 that exists soley to support the mission of the library. In short the library's mission is: Libraries change Lives!
In early 2012, Central Connecticut State University named Tulsa the 21st most literate city in America¹ in their annual survey. The Tulsa City-County Library greatly helped that ranking by ranking 10th best² in the country.
