Vallejo has a vibrant music scene as diverse as its population.

The Townhouse Cocktail Lounge in downtown Vallejo host several music nights. Local musicians Erin Bakke and Don Bassey perform Americana with the Townhouse Ramblers every Monday night from 7 to 10 PM. Folk musician Rich Adams hosts an open mic night on Wednesday nights from 8 to 11 PM. Don Bassey and Friends performs on first Fridays, The Stolen Moments on second Fridays, Pacific Panic on third Fridays, and Captain Pato on fourth Fridays at 8 PM.

The Vino Godfather Winery on Mare Island hosts live events, including concerts.

The Empress Theatre regularly hosts live concerts, spanning a wide variety of genres.

Vallejo Art Walk on the 2nd Fridays from 5 to 9 PM often hosts live music performances at venues in the downtown area.

KZCT 89.5 FM airs music by local and international musicians and bands.

Vallejo Arts & Entertainment hosts a calendar for upcoming events, including music.

The Vallejo Symphony Orchestra and Verismo Opera perform live in Vallejo.   

Vallejo is home to festivals and fairs, including the Mare Island Dock of the Bay Festival, Mad Hatter Parades, Vallejo Waterfront Weekend, and the Solano County Fair. All of which host music performances. 

Vallejo has numerous cultural celebrations throughout the year featuring music, including Pista Sa Nayon, Juneteenth, and Fiestas Patrias.
