Vallejo Pal Hurricanes
Hurricane Softball is a branch of the PAL-GALS Softball program. We field softball teams that compete in tournament events. The level of play is stepped up from home league and all girls who enjoy softball are encouraged to participate. Tryouts are held at the end of the home league season. Teams are formed on an age basis. Teams are designated as 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under, and 18 and under. Age is determined according to birth year so if a girl turns 11 on January 1, 2009 she is still eligible for 10 and Under play in the 2009 season. This is in accordance with rules set forth by the Amateur Softball Association of America.
