Radio stations

Radio stations from Regina and Moose Jaw are also receivable in Weyburn, particularly AM stations (and depending on the weather, FM stations too). The most prominent of these are:

  • 540 CBK, CBC Radio One
  • 620 CKRM, a full service country station; although based in Regina, it dedicates much of its coverage to southern Saskatchewan. Also, most importantly, the flagship broadcaster of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
  • 800 CHAB, an oldies station in Moose Jaw. If anything, it is essentially Moose Jaw's version of AM 1190 (it's even owned by Golden West too).
  • 980 CJME, a news-talk radio station in Regina. A rebroadcaster, 107.3 FM, specifically serves the Carlyle/Moose Mountain/Weyburn area, although CJME's AM signal is still perfectly good in Weyburn.
  • 1280 CJSL, essentially Estevan's version of AM 1190. In fact, it was a sister station from its very beginning.
