2009-11-14 01:42:11   This place caters more to the enthusiast, though many will probably disagree. If you are looking for a dopey Roadmaster for your 12 year old, you will probably not be satisfied with the selection, as the bikes in here ranges from mid-level to those insane semi-pro pieces of carbon-fiber and nanotechnology. I've brought a bike in there hoping for a tune-up, and received a complete retrofit of my drivetrain because my old parts literally blew up from age. They didn't need to be chided to do it; they just did it because it was the right thing to do for the bike and the client. They didn't try to sell me on new expensive stuff either. The best part is it came in for under what I was expecting to pay for just the tune up! I sometime hope they'd have an oddball bike out front for sale that they didn't know anything about, and I could get a sweet deal on it, but I don't that's going to happen. I'm pretty sure they know everything about every bike. —JonR

2011-07-30 08:34:15   With only one bike shop in our town, I'm so glad it's Foy's! The people are wonderful, the service is quick and reasonably priced, and they won't try to sell you things you don't need. I have never bought a bike from them, but they have repaired and tuned up and added accessories (like a trail-a-bike) to my bike over the years and I've NEVER been disappointed. Once they even fixed my bike for free because they had done a tuneup not long before. —SharonLovejoy
