Freeman Park is a 2-acre park bounded by Court Street and Main Street, located slightly east of 4th Street and slightly west of 6th Street. Woodland's famous Dead Cat Alley leads to the west side of Freeman Park.

Freeman Park features a basketball court, a gazebo with a stage, a playground, barbecues, and picnic tables. It has a parking lot off Court Street, next to Maria's Cantina.

Freeman Park is a former location of the Woodland Farmer's Market.

Trees planted at Freeman Park include the invasive weed species Purple-leaf Plum/Cherry Plum (Prunus cerasifera). However, two tree species native to Woodland can also be found at Freeman Park: Blue Oak (Quercus douglasii) and Valley Oak (Quercus lobata). Incense Cedar (Calocedrus decurrens) is also planted at Freeman Park and is native to other nearby parts of California. Other non-native trees at Freeman Park include Red Maple (Acer rubrum), Pecan (Carya illinoinensis), Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica), Chinese Hackberry (Celtis sinensis), Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica), London Plane (Platanus × hispanica), Northern Red Oak (Quercus rubra), and Japanese Pagoda Tree (Styphnolobium japonicum).
