Top Himalaya serves Indian and Nepalese food. It took the place of the Mexican Restaurant "El Mesquite" in Spring 2011. They have fast, friendly service and the food is super good!

2011-06-03 17:41:38 My husband and I have a new favorite place! It's Top Himalaya! The staff was really friendly and we loved all the food. The Chicken Tikka masala and the Palak Paneer is awesome. Give it a try! —scubarugirl
2011-09-05 10:45:47 I went to this restaurant with 3 other friends for a dinner. I ordered a veg thali and my other friends some other non veg stuffs.I was thinking that I will get good taste from this veg thali. Believe me this is the worst Indian food I had ever. some of the dishes has even high salt. Rice was looking stale and dried and it was plane. I am an Indian and know exactly how the thing should taste. I think we cook much better at our house everyday than this restaurant. While leaving, a lady and chef asked how was the food. I do not wanted to say anything at that time but thought to write a review for sure. I think there are much better Indian restaurants in Davis and will never go there and never recommend anybody this place. My other friends also did not like their lamb curry. I hate to write such review but this is the truth. Gurdeep Rastogi —Gurdeep

2012-04-10 22:52:57 DELICIOUS is what I have to say! I went with my boyfriend and we loved it! The environment was great, everyone was nice, and the food was delicious. It's good to know that there are still people who put pride in their service and their food. —DChavez
