Flat Rock (population 9,878) is a small southern Downriver city along the Huron River. Borders are Interstate 75 to Woodruff Road to Bradbury Drive to an invisible line to Huron River to Inkster Road to a half-mile north of Vreeland Road. Major thoroughfares include Huron River Drive, Telegraph Road, Gibraltar Road and Arsenal Road.
Incorporated as a city in 1965.
