A new addition to the Eureka Road corridorGolden Corral is a buffet restaurant chain which opened in Taylor on Eureka Road near Interstate 75 on February 18, 2016, in the building last occupied by Fire Mountain. Previously, people had to go to Westland for Golden Corral.

Barely over a month after the grand opening, on March 22, 2016, the restaurant had to be evacuated and closed for about twelve hours after a small gas fire broke out on the roof.
