Lincoln Park (population 38,144) is a city located in northern Downriver. Borders include Fordline Street, Brest Street, Fort Street, Goddard Road, the Ecorse River, and Outer Drive. Major thoroughfares include Dix Highway, Emmons Boulevard, Champaign Road and Southfield Road. The current mayor is Thomas Karnes.
It was incorporated as a city in 1925. It, along with Taylor, was named after a United States President, in this case Abraham Lincoln.
